Justin Papps is the Director of the Sydney Office and Practice Leader Innovation at Mettle Group. In this role Justin draws together the expertise of the individual practices within the Mettle Group for the benefit of our clients. With over 12 years experience in values and brand development, advertising and communications, Justin has the unique perspective that allows a client’s leadership style and approach to be aligned to and influence a company’s brand, values, culture and vision.
By defining the company values in a compelling and memorable way through to defining the internal culture and external brand experience, Justin’s focus is on creating a clear and easily understood brand platform that will best bring the culture to life for the internal employee audience and the external customer. Equally, Justin’s experience in bringing together marketing, HR and executive management teams allows for the creation of a collaborative, pragmatic and unified approach to this critical area of a company’s business.
With strong facilitation, coaching and training skills, Justin has worked with large teams as well as individuals to help them develop and refine the necessary leadership skills to have an immediate and long-term impact on the achievement of their strategy.
Justin has been fortunate enough to work with blue chip clients including Telstra, St. George Bank, Apple Computer Australia, Commonwealth Bank, Qantas and SAP.
Prior to joining Mettle Group, Justin was Executive Director at Singleton Ogilvy & Mather, one of Australia’s largest and most successful Advertising and Communications agencies. He was also involved in the development and growth of the STW Group, a highly successful publicly listed Communications Group.
Recognised in 2005 by AFR BOSS Magazine as Young Executive of the Year, Justin has delivered a range of speeches on culture, brand and leadership as well as appearing on Sunrise (7) and Insight (SBS). He has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University and his is greatest passion in life is spending time with his wife and two boys
